TheEargasm.com also known as The Eargasm is an indie magazine that focuses independent music, international music, up and coming music artist, lifestyle, fashion, and events. TheEargasm.com takes the work out of searching for quality music.

Tonya “RAP” Rapley

CEO and Editor of TheEargasm.com

Growing up as army brat, R.A.P (Rarities Are Possible) always found refuge in music. Born to DJ Rap, who wasn’t a pioneer, but was on the forefront of the New York Hip-Hop movement during its inception in the 1970s and 80s, Music has always been her third sibling.

While working in PR for Estee Lauder , R.A.P utilized her knowledge to work as a Fashion & Beauty Editor for a local online magazine where she became interested in music journalism and the interests of new artists. Following receiving her BA, from Florida International University(Miami, FL) R.A.P worked in the private sector for over four years. Dissatisfied with the inflexible nature of corporate life, R.A.P worked diligently on the creation of TheEargasm[dot]com and launched the site in Summer 2008 and relaunched the site in December 2008. Starsky (No Hutch) Robinson is a seasoned social marketing professional with a concentration in digital media and business development. Using a multi-platform approach, he is experienced in integrating live activities and events with new media channels from gaming, to web, and mobile campaigns.

As the Marketing Manager for JuiceCaster.com, Starsky Robinson devoted his unique skills in new media, business development and events to enhance JuiceCaster.com branding and consumer awareness. Through experience with JuiceCaster.com, Brand Jordan a Division of Nike, ThisNext.com, OPENSports.com, SodaHead.com, and independent consulting he is well versed in creating and harnessing online buzz. Starsky began with TheEargasm.com as the VP of Marketing and as of June 2009, Starsky was appointed to the VP of TheEargasm.com as a whole. He is a native of upstate New York and currently resides in Santa Monica, CA.

Courtney Warwick

Courtney Warkwick aka _Court is a California native. She has a healthy obsession with music that we just couldn’t pass up. Due to her influence and knowledge of the LA Hip hop and indie scene we decided to promote her from contributing writer to Urban Music and Content Editor. She Loves Amber Rose and a proud mother of one of the most beautiful children born. Shes responsible fr items such as our Dana La rock interview and mos of the hip hop post you see on the site. Chrys Love’ is a West L.A native and a serious streetwear enthusiast/sneakerhead. Whether it be art, fashion, or skateboarding, he has the Los Angeles lifestyle scene ingrained in his veins. As the Director of operations at SvPRB and store manager at EL Mercado in LA he has a good sense of what makes the fashion world tick. With refined musical taste that is particularly skewed to MF Doom and Dilla, he juggles Eargasms in one hand and Fashion in the other. Therefore if its new and steezy he’ll be the first to show it to ya.

Currently finishing up his B.A. in communication arts, Middz has a vast knowledge of men’s streetwear and high end fashions, as well as his hometown’s underground music scene. In his high school years he served as a music and film critic. He lives online, continually inclined to connect with like-minded contemporary subculture enthusiast. By night, he gets his muse from HaroldandZoey.com, where he’s the founder and sole contributer. Self-proclaimed, he lives vicariously through fictional characters. Self-ordained, he’s the indie music aficionado. Self-indulged, he thinks he’s cooler than you.

I got my start with 606tech, a Chicago-centric blog I co-founded for the purpose of covering the social media space. I went on to become the lead writer ofMashable.com, a leading publication that covers social media as well. I currently work at AllFacebook &SocialTimes, and have contributed to a number of other publications includingCenterNetworks, VentureBeat, and The Industry Standard. My work has been syndicated across a number of mainstream media outlets, including Reuters, The New York Times, and NBC.
