After a series of 2009 fails from Southern artist who were making noise but weren’t really making noise in my opionion, a young ATLien whom we’ve had our eye on for a minute cast a few rocks into the pond and made waves.

His 2009 Mixatpe, Diary of An Atlanta Brave was sponsored by urban clothing brand 10 Deep, and we expect 2010 to be an even bigger year for Donnis.
The former member of the United States Air Force first caught our ear on “Party Works”. Since then we’ve kept our ears peeled for new material and are happy to see a steady following accumulate behind the young artist. His sound is southern, but he has the big city swagger of any other artist in his class.
