Songs Turned into Tweets, 140 or Less.

Fitting a song into 140 characters or less. It seems like an impossible task. It may even seen silly. But it’s been done, time and again. Enough so that a Best Of album has been created, aggregating compositions from several Twitter musical magicians. But just because we’ve found a way to compress blog posts into 140 characters or less doesn’t mean that the concept should be applied to music as well, does it?
After composer Dan Stowell created a mini song by encoding the sound of waves crashing on the shore using SuperCollider, he tweeted the results. Others quickly followed suit, making their own compositions of compressed songs that could essentially fit into a single tweet. How novel.

A Millie (Flying Lotus Remix)

Now trust me when I say that I’m far from a fan of Lil’ Wayne. Don’t get me wrong, I do give him credit for all that he’s accomplished. But I definetly don’t think he is ”the best rapper alive”.
With that being said I give you the Flying Lotus remix to A Millie. This track is old as hell without a doubt, but I’m sure most of you haven’t had the time to catch this quick ‘gasm. Flying Lotus is a beast as far as production goes and his ambient feel is melodic. Please enjoy and pass it on. I think if Wayne let Lotus produce his next album, he’d go double diamond!

_Court’s Christmas Wishlist
I know I’m super late with this, but I really had to sit down and think about what I would want if I were to have a wishlist. I’m so basic I didnt ask for anything this Christmas I just wanted to see the smile on my sons face when he opened his gifts. :)
ok enough about that. Here are my 3 items that I came up with after days of thinking.
1. I absoloutely LOVE to read. I swear to you, if I owned this chair I would NEVER leave the house. So trust and belive one day I will own this badboy.
2. ok, so I’ve actually wanted a professional camera for the last couple of years. Our pockets havent been right for me to purchase it but in the perfect world I would’ve had this circa 5-6 years ago. lol. It wouldnt be this make/model I would have to do some major research before buying one of these. I want to get the best of the best!

3. Doc Martens. I must own a pair of these soon. They’re the perfect shoe to stomop out all the Haters.
Happy Holidays. xoxo Court.

Like you all probably read in my earlier post, my boy Nick turned me onto this new subculture music scene thats sweepin’ So Cal. Its known as dubstep and with that electronic feel plus heavy use of bass, its sure to give you an eargasm. This is his dubstep remix of Metric’s “Help I’m Alive” and its amazing and dare I say genius. Be on the look out for him because he def has the dubstep game in a choke hold, minus the G.I. Joe kung-fu grip ha!

Us Versus Them x Black Scale “La Guerra Clandestina” Video

Following up its recent collaboration with Crooks & Castles, Us Versus Them puts out another video, this time for the release of its collaboration with fellow West Coast brand, Black Scale. Working from a concept created by Mega and Us Versus Them designer Graham Nystrom, the brand’s applied a signature hand drawn style, pulling inspiration from the cryptic crests and symbolism of old European architecture. Aiming to keep the true meaning of the symbolism cloudy, the graphic is centered around the Ourobouros, an ancient symbol of a serpent eating itself, which is said to represent death and rebirth, and the phrase “La Guerra Clandestina”, meaning The Secret War, lends a heavy feeling to the project.
Both tees and crewnecks will see a release tomorrow at noon (PST), exclusively at the Black Scale flagship store and Versus stores.

Its is a “wish” list but in the perfect world these would be mine for Christmas so Santa just throw these in the sack for me.

ALEXANDER WANG ROCCO DUFFLE BAG
A girl can never have to many. Black leather with antiqued brass hardware on the bottom how can you go wrong?

BLACK SCALE SHADES OF BLACK
Simple. Classic. Clean.

CHRISTIAN LOUBOUTIN SUEDE ANKLE BOOTS
Perfect for walking my dog a few yards. Understated yet killer. Santa I know you want to see me in these!

METROFARM DJ DESK
These custom made dj desks are insane. Made by Berlin based Metrofarm to suit any dj’s requirements and equipment. I would never leave the house. Super sick with it.

THE DC BED FROM CECOTTI COLLEZIONI
Santa I know its asking a lot for you to import this Italian bed to Australia but just putting it out there. Designed by Vincenzo De Cotiis with the poetic idea of a bed as a refuge. Leather and metal chic minimalism. Perfecto!
