1). What Gives you an Eargasm?
That’s a tough one cause I’m a hater and I know it. I’m very hard on artist, like I want everybody to push the envelope when it comes to creating. I’m tired of hearing generic records that sound like “okay I need a club record, so I’m gonna give em loud 808’s and slow rhymes..boom club joint” when the music is organic and from a genuine place it will give anybody a EARgasm.. You can tell though from jump when the music is organic or processed, luckily the internet has brought tons of new artist that do it for the love and those are the artist that are going to change the genre as we know it, myself being one of them
2). Album or work with a Guaranteed Eargasm Experience other than yours? Andre 3000’s “The Love Below” and the bootleg version of Lupe’s “Food n Liquor”. I had Lupe’s joint on repeat from the time I woke up to when I went to sleep back when it dropped, that album was different then the one that hit stores. I couldn’t tell you the names of the songs cause it had no case but the word play and subject matter changed how I made music for the better, before that I was guns and drugs all day cause that’s what I seen around me but after hearing that I realized you can speak about it but don’t glorify it like its a badge of honor, its really sad that I can say I know over 20 people in my age bracket that died violent deaths.
3) Something you learned this week? With the passing of Micheal Jackson, Farrah Fawcet, Ed Mcmahon, Billy Mays, and Ricky Astley all in a span of days it has been a real eye opener. Even though they all died natural deaths and weren’t taken from us its like damn we are really here on borrowed time, so the best thing to do is live life to the fullest an try to leave your mark on the world even if its with one person, maybe that one person you touched will change the world.
4) Song you would wake up to every morning if you could?
“Long time coming” by Ottis Redding, when I was making the transition from a dude who was in the streets rapping and hustling to actually taking rap serious and gettin far with it that was my soundtrack, I actually sat in my room with the light off and was just zoning out to that record and caught myself tearing up, the emotion in that record matched my thought process at one point, even when no one believes in you, you have to believe in you and your time will come
5) Eargasm or Orgasm?
hahaha Ima go with the second..now I’m not going into detail with this question cause years later it may come back to haunt me. Imagine receiving the noble peace prize and someone ask you “I know giving back to your native Harlem was a big priority for you, but you once said in a interview. “Harlem chicks can’t take “it” can u u elaborate on what “it” is” lol I would be stuck so Ima just leave it as orgasm.
