MJ's life and legacy were such a huge part of my childhood that I feel like a little piece of me is gone too. I will always miss him but will keep dancing to the music he created!

I do not think the world has felt this type of hit since Bob Marely died. Despite the great music of both individuals, what stays with me most is their message of love felt in their songs and their great deeds for humanity. Personally giving millions of their own money to help the poor and raising more from others.

Michael Jackson was bigger than Elvis Presely for Michael Jackson was an innovator and yet a student of the greats whom he studied as well as acknowledged and honored. From Fred Astair to James Brown to Little Richard to Mozart. As Barry Gordy stated, he studied the greats and became greater. 5 Decades of Music, 45 years of greatness from age 5. The total package from dancing, singing, writing and producing. He was the greatest entertainer of our time, yet he showed love and respect to those who came before him. He had humanity and was a good man.

They say he had $400 million dollars in debt and that most of his masters were leveraged / 50% owned by finance companies. His personal masters are worth billions and that is not including the music of the Beattles, Little Richard and other masters that he owns. Financial Legacy secured for 50% of billions is more than enough to take care of his family.

They say that he did not have any use for black america until he was in trouble. Michael Jackson was one of the largest supporters of educational funds for black youth in the US and in Africa. He was close the foundations of black America from Ebony/Jet to supporting the rise of BET. He loved and was loved by Mo Town. He regulary opened doors for brothas and sistas trying to come up. The brother had enough soul to earn him the respect of Soul Brother #1, James Brown.

They say he was a child molester due to 2 incidents. He was found innocent in 2005 and all of his closest peers known for their word (ex: Deepak Chopra) stated that he was innocent. Had suffered from lupus and vigilio (the pigementation disease that caused his skin to whiten) and when he decided to settle the case in late 90s, they said he must have been guilty with no regard to the daily pain he suffered. Those vultures used their kid to get money because if your kid truly was injured, you would press forward.

They say he was weird because loved differently from Lisa Marie Presely to others but with all the craziness around him since age 5, can you blame him. Always being watched, judged. People wanting you for materials or fame. Shoot I do not blame him one bit. It is hard enough for people out of the spotlight.

The pundits on CNN (not journalists for they lost their balance in search of headlines) gloss over his many good deeds. It is ashame that we had to wait until his funeral to find out about his trips to Walter Reed and various other acts of kindness. The fact that he was not just an entertainer but an amazing human being.

Whom god bless, no man curse. MJ was our blessing and god is good. I am inspired to shine in my life, to excel as he did and to spread the love. Blessings & MJ lives on thru his children, family, supporters and most of all, the almighty.

Michael Jackson was more than just an artist to me, he was phenominal singer, songwriter, dancer and care giver. He inspired the world, countries all over the world. I live in Japan and he is truly loved over her. I remember having Michael Jackson's posters all over my bedroom in highschool. I danced, sang and enjoyed his music for 40 decades. To his family, you have my sympathy. I will keep you all in my prayers. For the siblings, I know what you are going through, because I've been there and it hurts so bad, but keep his memory alive. I stayed up all night her in Okinawa to watch the memorial services, and I would not have missed it for nothing in the world. R.I.P. Michael Jackson I loved you and will miss you, moonwalk with my brother in heaven

  • I remember when I first bought the MJ Album with the baby tiger on it. It had the fold out double album with Micheal Jackson laid out with a Tiger. Back then a album cost 9 bucks. Played that album for hours on in. That's my MJ memory.

Mike was one of kind. Sad that it took his death to jog the memory of many, and to open the minds of a new generation to his lagacy.

Billie Jean was the first video I ever saw as a kid and the song brings back so many memories. Watching MJ perform and dance the moonwalk on Motown. WOW! It was pure magic. I'm mostly disappointed that the world won't be able to see him one last time perform on stage.
  • "Just kiss me baby and tell me twice" -MJ

The way he made us feel...

No matter who you are if you grew up in america you were influnced by Michael there will never be anyone who will such a profound impact on pop culture ever again RIP Michael Jackson one of the greatest of all time.
  • R.I.P. Michael Jackson. Never will there be another artist who singularly affected our lives by merely expressing himself in music. Deeply misunderstood, but in the end, still immensely loved, Michael is like a beautiful view of the sunset as you whiz by in your car all too fast. We got but a whiff of his awesome talent, and maybe now, that is all that matters.

Probably one of my biggest if not biggest inspirations... ~ Charles Feelgood

Michael Jackson lived to make people happy through his music. He sang and danced his heart out because that was his calling. Since his passing, it has made me realize more than ever how important music is. It really does transcend all boundaries and Michael was the king of it. I hope that the artists of today and the future can learn something from him. It's not about being hip or cool or looking trendy but really LOVING the music. Michael was an incredible visionary and embraced the essence of passion through his music. He shot that magic right into our souls and he will be missed and will forever stay in our hearts. ~ DJ Dan
  • How did M.J. impact my life? Well must say most of the music I grew up on in the 90's was directly influenced by what MJ was doing in the 80's. Dude had an ability to fully invest all his artistic energy into every single track he ever recorded, which is probably his most amazing feat. I mean can you honestly say you can think of mj song you just really think sucked. Well I have to also keep it real and say its great how everyone is celebrating the positive legacy he left, but one impact MJ had on my life is a realization of the negative impacts fame and stardom can have on ones life. It was truly sad to watch him deteriorate over time and make head lines for so many obscure events. At least he never was taken advantage of and made into a reality show like other pop has beens (i.e. Ozzy Osbourne)

“More people have shaken their ass to the ridiculously simple kik snare of Billie Jean than any other record in dance music. It was that simple combination which inspired what was to become the norm for house music today. MJ still lives in every record I make. RIP.” ~ Dave Audé, Billboard Chart-topping producer and DJ
