It’s not something that happens often but when it does, it’s pretty much a guaranteed good time. Ok can someone tell me where I can find an over 30 years old Diggy Simmons to date? This kid is just too steezy. The 14 year old son of Rev Run is already getting respect in the hip hop and fashion scene. Check his blog for his mixtape and style. www.digslifeofthejetsetter.blogspot.com and see why I named my dog after him.
West coast trio Pac Div gives us some new visuals for their Cool Kids assisted track. “Shut Up” is a song produced by Swiff D off The Church League Champions mixtape the Cali artists put out this past summer. The pacific division emcees are definitely one of several west coast entities that are on the come up. Plus, The Cool Kids always make for a versatile and entertaining feature. The kidnapping theme and the color scheme introduced in the video are both well chosen. My only complaint about the music video is that it could have been more unexpected and taken a less cliché’ route in how it played out. After all, there were two innovative and cutting edge groups at work here. Regardless, I’m still an avid listener of The Cool Kids and Pac Div has been making more and more rounds on my playlist in recent months. Check out the video yourselves and see what you think. Enjoy
